This year’s class of headline-making hotels and buzzworthy restaurants is reshaping the global travel and dining scene.

These destinations promise to become the places to check in, dine out and unwind — from design-driven luxury retreats like Ian Schrager’s Public on L.A.’s Sunset Strip and revived icons in Venice and Saint-Tropez to chef-led openings already generating insider chatter. There’s even a new hotel opening in the heart of Nashville from the one and only Dolly Parton.
